The problem
Contact details for local officials are scattered across thousands of town websites in every format imaginable. The useful version is one place where you pick your town and get the right person and the right address.
What I built
- A pipeline that gathers, cleans and re-checks officials and city hall addresses state by state.
- A county-page model: one static page per county, with each municipality loaded on demand, instead of tens of thousands of near-identical town pages.
- A local/state switch, so the same page covers the mayor and city hall or the governor and every overlapping legislative district.
- A postcard form on every page.
